Eastport Alpaca Collection

The town of Eastport is a small, remote fishing village located at the most eastern point in the United States. With its long, cold winters, Eastport offers a space and the time for fireplaces and hot chocolate to work on those projects that will be special and enduring. We believe the alpaca and merino in what was our first Collection now available in 12 colors resonate with natural beauty and simplicity.

Eastport Alpaca, a DK weight yarn made of 70% domestic, un-dyed alpaca and 30% merino, is available in 12 soft heathered hues. The yarn has strength, warmth, a “hint of luster”and is a delight to knit up. This semi-worsted yarn was created and named after the most eastern point in the United States, Eastport, Maine.

Our Designers and Pattern Recommendations

Many of the Eastport patterns have been developed in collaboration with Louet North America. Currently, available are several patterns such as a quick and easy cap – The Snowcap & Skull Cap; a lovely, open knit scarf – the Brick Stitch Stole; and a more industrious sweater project – the Devon Sweater. Patterns can be obtained by e-mailing your request to info@suripaco.com .
