Harmony Collection

Our goal with the Harmony Navajo Collection - to bring “closer to home” a product that is representative of New England farms – be it alpaca, sheep, or other natural fibers. Working with Bartlett Yarns in Harmony, Maine and their woolen mule-spinning process, this season there are two weights of alpaca and Maine sheep wool knitting yarns – bulky and DK weight in natural, black and eight beautifully hand-dyed colors.

This Made in Maine collection comes in two weights and a range of hand dyed colors. Available in Creamy Oatmeal and Winter Grey. Hand dyed colors are coming.

DK Weight

A plush, rustic 2-ply yarn, spun from a 75/25 blend of domestic alpaca and Maine wool is the perfect blend for lightweight projects with fabulous warmth and drape.

Bulky

Soft, fluffy, and velvety smooth, this 75/25 domestic alpaca/Maine wool single ply yarn is perfect for quick, warm and cozy winter accessories. Each skein weighs 4 ounces, with approximately 80 yards per skein.

Our Designers and Pattern Recommendations

Falling Leaves Chunky Hat by Choo Choo Knits – is a quick one-skein project from the bulky weight yarn. Designer Karen Clark has customized this pattern for our yarn which is available on Ravelry at Choo Choo Knits.

The Fisherman’s Wife Beret, by Leah B. Thibault is another fun project. Reminding you somewhat of a fishing net, this quick and easy hat is designed for the bulky weight.
